The glossy lifestyle magazine was unveiled at the Company’s real estate industry Gala Cocktail Party to an audience of over 130 guests.

The magazine depicts the unique Broadbeach lifestyle and is available at leading agents across the Gold Coast and at selected national and international outlets.

Property Tempus features a selection of stories on the history of Broadbeach, international celebrity and Niecon ambassador Tara Moss  right through to the design elements of the sensational apartments soon to be unveiled at The Oracle.

Over 120 of the Coast’s top agents were treated to a special evening at Bruce Lynton BMW to hear about the development of  The Oracle as the gigantic project gets closer to completion.

It was the first major industry event for 2010 for the Coast’s agents with many using the oportunity to catch up on industry news and market trends.

Niecon CEO, Con Nikiforides gave an overview of the project’s progress and sales news providing agents and launched the new Oracle magazine - Property Tempus.

Members of the Gold Coast Bulletin editorial team were given a conducted tour through the comerical and residential components so they could view the enormity of the project.

With local interest now peaking, media stories will be on the increase as the project gets closer to  completion.

With a 2metre swell on Saturday, surfers and onlookers alike were thrilled by the return on the big waves on the famed point.

As surfing numbers swell on the southern beaches as the buzz grows around the upcoming titles, some of Australia’s best known names have been engaged in debate over whether the best barrels in the country could once again reine supreme when the sand dredging ceases.

After taking a surf on Monday world champion Mick Fanning twittered that he had just surfered Kirra and its wasn’t back but World number 3 Bede Durbidge didn’t agree, saying it was good be back surfing at Kirra.

Reports in yesterday’s Sunday Mail created interest amongst enthusiasts with SeaFM surf reporter Blake McKinnon stated as saying a debate was raging about Kirra’s famed break was back.

The big swell brought hundreds of onlookers to the southern Gold Coast over the weekend to view some of the world’s best in action.

The swanky upmarket cafe takes pride of place on the foreshore at Kirra and already has drawn a swarm of locals and tourists in its first couple of days of operations.

Famous for its premium coffee and teas, sweet treats and savory delights as well as its hip staff and chic music, Aromas is sure to make its mark on the changing face of Kirra.

And  the openings hours ar sure to be a hit, seven days from 6am to 11pm.

More select retailers will be opening shortly on Nirvana including Mist on Febuary 14th joing Aromas Tea & coffee Merchants and highly successful new tentant, My Gelato.

The next major milestone will be installation of the roof canopy on the western tower in January while the internal construction lift will be commissioned in the Eastern Tower early in the new year.

When the Grocon team comes back from the Christmas break, work will commence on the unique exterior finishes creating the colour and soul of the podium levels and boulevard precinct.

Works are underway on the Gold Coast Highway and Elizabeth Avenue to create new traffic flow as part of the preparation for the Oracle Boulevard.

The retail and commercial precinct is starting to take shape as the inter-tenancy walls are framed in the commercial spaces and glazing and paint finishes applied to the Podium.

Work has also started in the beachside park as part of the beautification of the area in preparation for the launch next year.

The divine Tara poet and philosopher Dr. Berndt Sellheim were married on December 4th, 2009 in the rose gardens of Voyager Estate, Margaret River, during a private ceremony in the presence of close friends and family. The bride wore a blood red couture gown with train designed by friend Alex Perry, accessorised with 130-year-old silver Victorian jewellery, including a locket containing the couple’s hair. The writers have been engaged since February, when they proposed to each other and exchanged rings in Paris.

“We look forward to becoming a couple of old, eccentric writers together,” Moss said. “This is bliss.”

The Resort’s Management team were thrilled with the results, saying it is going to be a bumper Christmas for bookings with the phone ringing with enquiries right through to May next year.

With summer tipped to be the hottest on record, it is no doubt tourists are choosing to stay beachfront where the sea breeze and resort-style facilities coupled with cafes and relaxed eateries provide the perfect oasis for the sizzling days ahead.

 A $4 MILLION home in the sky has sparked hope for a resurgence in the southern Gold Coast luxury property market.

 The sale of the Niecon’s Reflection Tower Two penthouse on the Coolangatta Esplanade marks the highest purchase in the region since the global downturn last year and has sparked hope that the property market is back on the rise.

 A couple from Orange, NSW, who preferred not to be named, snapped up the 465sqm apartment through independent agent Stewart Rowe.

 They are long-term investors in beachfront properties and already own several southern Gold Coast apartments in Niecon’s Reflection on the Sea and Nirvana by the Sea.

 The buyers said they took advantage of the market and made a strategic decision to buy in the beachfront location.

 ”We have invested on the Gold Coast for many years and believe that with the exceptional standard of building quality and finishes, this is the best value for money,” they said.

Niecon CEO Con Nikiforides said the penthouse defined a new standard of luxury on the southern Gold Coast and would boost the area’s reputation for excellence.

Two other penthouses are still for sale and are priced at $3.35 million and $4.375 million.

With a bevy of Gold Coast Corporate kings in attendance at the premier luncheon, Niecon CEO Con Nikiforides, met up with management from The Oracle’s engineering firm, Robert Bird Group and development architect, Barry Lee from DBI as well as state and federal politicians.
