New iconic development for Broadbeach
Australia’s Gold Coast has always proved both a popular holiday destination and investment ground for New Zealanders, and with the changing face of the region, it is now better than ever on both counts.
With Broadbeach having become the cosmopolitan heart of the region, both holiday makers and investors alike are reaping the rewards of the precinct’s new look.
Ideally positioned between Kurrawa Beach, Pacific Fair and Conrad Jupiters, Broadbeach has all the offerings of a sophisticated living without the busy tourism atmosphere.

Niecon Developments is poised to further lift Broadbeach to even greater heights by undertaking a $750 million residential and retail venture of international standard.
The Australian company has recently launched stage One of The Oracle, a project which will include include ‘exquisitely beautiful’ 40 and 50-level apartment towers that will crown the Broadbeach skyline.

“The Oracle will be like a breath of fresh air, adding new luxury, allure and vitality to Broadbeach,” says Niecon CEO Con Nikiforides.
“It will become a new destination for families and visitors alike and will be a landmark that can be seen from far and wide.”
The young operator of one of the Gold Coast’s most successful bakeries is taking his talents to Niecon Developments’ Reflection on the Sea project at Coolangatta. Lina Phe, 24, has run The Original Main Beach Bakery, in Tedder Avenue, since early 2004.
That business, which is nearly 40 years old, draws customers from far and wide and has sales of more than $1 million a year.
Its clientele include tourism entrepreneur Keith Williams, who has been drinking coffee at the bakery almost daily for 20 years.

Mr Phe and wife Pitou, who moved to the Gold Coast from Brisbane to enjoy a life by the sea, intend replicating their Main Beach success at Niecon’s Reflection on the Sea. They have leased 127 square metres, plus a 64 square metre alfresco area, from Niecon in the $20 million retail area at the first of Reflection’s two apartment towers.
The Phe bakery will be among 12 tenancies expected to open in December in the upmarket ground-floor boulevard at Reflection on the Sea.
Niecon launches its luxurious penthouses
Niecon Developments, determined to take apartment living on the Gold Coast to new heights of luxury and sophistication, has launched two $4 million-plus penthouses at its up market Reflection on the Sea project at Coolangatta.
CEO Constantine Nikiforides says Niecon intends to make the penthouses ‘the cream of the crop’ on the tourism capital’s 30km beachfront strip. Reflection is being built on a blue-chip beachfront site which we regard as second to none. We intend to make sure the penthouses that cap the building are also second to none. The stunning views over the beach, the ocean and north to Surfers Paradise give us a great head start.”

The penthouses, priced at $4.35 million and $4.5 million, have been put on the market as construction of Reflection on the Sea approaches the halfway mark. The 20-level tower is close to being a sellout and due to this success Niecon acquired adjoining land for Reflection Tower Two, which 70 per cent is pre-sold. The towers will sit above a boutique, cafe and restaurant precinct in which leasing is under way.
