2010 is certainly going to be a monumentous year for the Gold Coast, with the largest development on the eastern seaboard moving forward at a swift pace.
The next major milestone will be installation of the roof canopy on the western tower in January while the internal construction lift will be commissioned in the Eastern Tower early in the new year.
When the Grocon team comes back from the Christmas break, work will commence on the unique exterior finishes creating the colour and soul of the podium levels and boulevard precinct.
Works are underway on the Gold Coast Highway and Elizabeth Avenue to create new traffic flow as part of the preparation for the Oracle Boulevard.
The retail and commercial precinct is starting to take shape as the inter-tenancy walls are framed in the commercial spaces and glazing and paint finishes applied to the Podium.
Work has also started in the beachside park as part of the beautification of the area in preparation for the launch next year.

The divine Tara poet and philosopher Dr. Berndt Sellheim were married on December 4th, 2009 in the rose gardens of Voyager Estate, Margaret River, during a private ceremony in the presence of close friends and family. The bride wore a blood red couture gown with train designed by friend Alex Perry, accessorised with 130-year-old silver Victorian jewellery, including a locket containing the couple’s hair. The writers have been engaged since February, when they proposed to each other and exchanged rings in Paris.
“We look forward to becoming a couple of old, eccentric writers together,” Moss said. “This is bliss.”
Only three weeks after launching holiday lettings at Nirvana By The Sea, the weekend saw the entire letting pool sold out.
The Resort’s Management team were thrilled with the results, saying it is going to be a bumper Christmas for bookings with the phone ringing with enquiries right through to May next year.
